Isabelle Griffith is an Emotional Resilience & Wellbeing and Embodied Leadership Coach, Trainer and Speaker, passionate about addressing the stress and burnout epidemic our society is suffering from. She is the founder of The School Of Somatic Leadership For Women ™, and the creator of The Pause Approach ® and Soma Leadership ®.

Isabelle supports female leaders to stress less, live more and lead well; and organisations to embed emotional resilience at personal, team and cultural level, in order to drive resilient results.

McKinsey’s Women In The Workplace 2021 report highlights that:

1 in 3 women are contemplating downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce, compared to 1 in 4 in 2020.

42% of women are often or almost always burnt out (rising to over 50% for women managing others).

Companies risk losing women in leadership - and future women leaders - and unwinding years of progress toward gender diversity.

It also reveals that “Women are setting new standards for leadership”.

Women leaders are more likely to promote employee wellbeing and spend substantial time on DEI work that falls outside of their formal responsibilities. But it comes at a huge cost, and “the state of women hangs in the balance”.

This crisis represents an opportunity for companies to invest in wellbeing initiatives focused on retaining women leaders.

About Isabelle

Isabelle supports organisations to prevent stress, burnout and high functioning anxiety within their female leaders, and to embed emotional resilience at individual, team and leadership level.

She also works privately with female leaders, helping them to develop the emotional resilience they need to have the impact they desire without sacrificing their wellbeing.

Isabelle founded her coaching practice in 2017, after spending over 20 years in the corporate world, where she held a variety of roles at AT&T, PwC, United Technologies Corporation, Amazon, Yahoo!, and JustGiving.  She led geographically spread teams long before zoom was in fashion. Her personal experience of burnout combined with her training in multiple modalities from reputable sources have led Isabelle to develop a unique methodology to raise the emotional wellbeing of individuals and organisations alike.

It draws heavily on neuroscience, and uniquely brings together a range of modalities including Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Embodiment, NLP and Transactional Analysis.

 

It is not confined to working with the mind alone - embodiment is woven throughout for longer lasting change. Stress is a physiological reaction: it happens within the body. Therefore, processing stress requires working with and through the body.


Trauma-informed

 

It is attentive to her client’s personal history, and offers a safe and compassionate space to express and explore emotional and mental challenges that they are often unable to share in any other context.
